22 October, 2021 – Lizzette Kattán and Ronald James, a creative mother and son duo, are celebrating a recent private launch party for their new book, “ROATÁN and The History of the Bay Islands.” The exclusive launch party took place on Sunday, October 17, 2021, at the home of renowned television host and producer Yue-sai Kan, and was hosted by Kan and former Honduran president Ricardo Maduro.

In addition to Kan and President Maduro, the event was attended by Jessica Canahuati, Consul General of Honduras in New York City, Luis Fernando Suazo, Ambassador of Honduras to the United States, and his wife, along with Honduran-born New York City-based fashion designer Carlos Campos and designer and art dealer Han Feng. Other international tastemakers, art lovers, and Roatán aficionados were in attendance.
