Grateful4Her is a social initiative founded and curated by Dr. Kelly Page that focuses on the impact of women globally through gratitude and with that they identified CAWC as the charity they wanted to partner with to celebrate the work and impact of women.
“By injecting more gratitude into the media conversation about women, we can impact how women are being treated in their homes, workplaces and by their loved ones. Domestic violence is about respect for another human being, and it starts with what we think and how we talk about women,” shared Dr. Kelly Page, “We are really happy about this partnership, CAWC needs the communities support from across Chicago.”
An important year for nonprofit CAWC as they celebrate 40 years of helping women and children in the area of Chicago. Development Director, Kevin Feldman stated, “We are so thankful to caring people like Kelly Page and Grateful4Her for helping to raise both financial support and awareness for the work of CAWC and its cause.”
Comedy line up stars Marci Deloney, Gwen La Roka, Tamale Sepp, Adrienne Brandyburg and host, Mona Aburmishan. Aburmishan, stand-up comic based in Chicago, is known for being the host of The Comedy Bowl, Chicago’s #1 stand-up comedy and trivia show. Aburmishan has performed, emceed, and produced comedy shows, competitions and events in major clubs, theaters and universities around the world. The all-female comedy line up contributes in all aspects of the event including the female-focused social initiative to the cause and benefiting charity aiding women in Chicago.
Grateful4Her is a storytelling initiative driving impact on how we share stories about the work and impact of women that was launched by Dr. Kelly Page in 2016. A movement earthed in gratitude about the ways, achievements and impact of people who identify as women. A way to share her story and show your gratitude for her impact. A way to create our collective appreciation for the powerful influence of women across the world.
